This T-shirt represents the new version of La Mujer in a new Loteria card. Growing up I used to LOVE playing loteria with my abuela. I felt like the cards representing women needed a little updating since they are either over sexualized or represent submissive women. We are in the NEW ERA of LA MUJER, where women represent freedom, resilience, empowerment and strength. This was my take on creating a piece that is close to my heart and culture as well as my beliefs. When you work on physically getting stronger so many other things change, and I wish that upon YOU. This is a really exciting colab with amazing artist Viviana Montaño who is an AMAZING Mexican American artist from the BAY!
